One of the latest and most troubling invaders in Michigan waters is Starry Stonewort. This is a sample showing the white, star-shaped bulbils you can see if you pull it out including its roots.

It includes pictures, identification and information videos and links to help identifying most invasive aquatic plants and what you can do to help with it. Please check it out and keep it handy if and when you want to be a part of the solution!
