well i just ordered all my components for my American Tackle 842. It will be built as a spinning rod, with American Tackles microwave guides in black, split grip handle, with black eva grips. I plan on using this rod with a braid fluor combo for skipping/pitching lightly weighted bullet craws and senkos to docks and other shoreline cover. The action is fast and med to med hvy action, at 7' long i should be able to cast it a long distance if needed as well as a good hard hookset. So with all black components and black wraps it should look pretty cool, i will add some color pins just haven't mad up my mind on what color yet. i'll keep ya posted with pics in the near future
think about the ergo nomic handle
