Title: Get that last Lake Erie trip in today or tomorrow morning before the hurricane
Post by: djkimmel on December 19, 2012, 11:59:33 AM
That's right. Hurricane! Weather forecasters are predicting a blizzard that will reach through the Great Lakes into Michigan and beyond by Thursday night into Friday. Wind gusts 50 to 60 mph with the "potential for gusts to near hurricane-force in the vicinity of lakes Michigan and Erie later Thursday into Friday."

At minimum, prepare for a possible rough drive into work Friday morning and be safe.

Hurricane?  This hasn't been much of a storm here on the west side. A little snow this morning and rain the rest of the day with temps climbing. It is 45 right now.

I really should have gotten into that profession. How hard can it be to tell everyone that there's a chance weather could happen?  If you're wrong, it doesn't matter. You said there was a "chance" something could happen.
