Title: Lake Superior bass HELP!
Post by: FSU Basser on July 17, 2012, 04:05:10 PM
I am going camping with my girlfriend and her family in Munising and they rented a pontoon to take around Pictured Rocks and that area. They want me to show them how to catch some fish and I have NO IDEA what i am doing on the big lake. Any help is appreciated on catching bass and wouldn't mind catching some walleye.

I'd be really interested to hear about this too! The scenery there is amazing and it would be even better if you could catch smallies as well! I have heard that the pictured rocks water is very cold.

Mostly anyone fishes up there are lake trout. I go up there every year csmping and try yo get info on anyone  between munising and grand marais. Big Beaver lake which is a csnoe kayak lake in the fed campground close to pictured rocks is supposed to have huge smallies in it and there is a connector stream to lake superior.
