5-14-10 high rock

yep another day of play on the rock..normally the only lake i fish between june and september-when the bite shuts off on the others-

water was a luke warm 78 degrees and fairly clear for high rock-vizability was around 2 feet-the bass bit early, the bite crawled to a stop about noon.most were on texas rigged 6" pumkin power worms. finding most of the fish in 2-3 feet of water..nothing of size really a couple 3 pounders. the way they bit is what sucked. the bite on braid felt like ya dragged it into a gob of leaves.you would go to pop it loose and end up with a fish on it..for the record i hate this type of post spawn bite...
