There's a couple new posts on the Perspective blog you may or may not find interesting, particularly tournament anglers on the "I get these calls" by me and truck owners / Americans on the "American Trucks and the Outdoors" post by a concerned sportsman.

Check them out at http://www.greatlakesbass.com/glblog/blog2.php if you get time.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Hang em' by their thumbs!

Had the same thing happen to me in the early 90's in the Federation.    Except I put the fear of being a "snitch" into this guy.   He kept telling me he was just kidding........I would tell him "I don't know if you were or not....I may have to report it".    Had him terrified the rest of the day and for a few weeks after the tournament.

I believe he learned his leson that day.     He still tournament fishes today....and is fairly popular & successful.

"I don't care how you did the other day......bring em' to the scales"

That is definitely one way to handle the situation that should never come up in a tournament in the first place.

Great job DK on putting these kinds of things into perspective.  Some people in the world live in their own little "fairy tale" and forget where they came from.  Again great job!!!!   :D
