Prayer Request
« on: July 02, 2009, 05:47:07 AM »

we found out Monday our 18 year old son Steve has cancer and will be having an operation today.  He has the same thing Lance Armstrong had,  only it was detected much earlier.  He has been in great spirits and we know he will be fine. Please think of him today in your prayers..

Thanks

The Smith family.

Commerce, Mi

PS  Hug you kids.

Prayers sent Steve......Please let us know if there is anything we can do.....

Have you read Lance Armstrong's "It's not about the bike"

Great book, I took alot from that book in my Military Career,,,,,,He speaks alot about his battles with Cancer and how he stayed motivated....

Steve says thanks for thinking of him.  his operation went well, now we wait a week for the results and see what future treatments he will need.   he got to come home last night and has not stopped eating since.

again thanks for your prayers.

That's usually a very good sign. Great to hear it and best wishes for the best results.
