I took 3 C-flash cranks I got from Mikes Rx Baits with me to Mexico's Lake Comedero brought to you by Ron Speed Jr's EXOTIC OUTDOOR ADVENTURES in the 90+ degree heat and sun, but after seeing how good even the little bass, let alone the GIANTS!!! were at wrapping you up in the billion-plus flooded thorn trees, I couldn't bring myself to throw them. Figured their life expectancy would be about 1 strike!?! I lost 2 big Fat Free Shads pretty quickly as it was, and lots of other baits including a VanDam Option Popper that was smoking hot at the time until a 5-pounder broke my line on a cartwheeling, rod-arm shaking jump!!!!!!

Besides, topwater was way more fun!!! KA- WHAAAAMMM!! And it was between post-spawn for the January wave of bass and the beginning of the February spawners movement in to spawn so every kind of pattern was working to some degree at some part of the day. (You should see the bruises across my stomach from hundreds of massive hook sets and extreme efforts to keep large bass from getting into the thorn trees!!!! YOUCH!! Even a lot of the 'little ones' fought like demons!!!!!)

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Mr Kimmel,

On behalf of myself, the members of GLBass.com, and quite possibly the majority of cabin bound bass fisherman stuck in the great white North - we hate your guts.

Welcome home.
Respectfully yours,
The Dude
