I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Doug Ratliff wanted me to post that The Last Chance Tournament has a new date this year.

SUNDAY  OCTOBER 21.

More details to follow.

Please tell anyone you know that fishes it.

Anthony Adams

Is this an open event Dartag?

I wish I could come but I'll be in Miami at the Lions game that day.

However if you get me the info I can share it with those who participate in the Hawg Hunt the week before on Oct 14th. I'll pass your info on if you all are willing to pass our info on. Maybe we can help each other out?
Anthony Adams - As your director I believe in promoting the enjoyment of fishing to all. I encourage good sportsmanship and preserving of natural resources. I strongly encourage all individuals regardless of age, race, or gender to be more involved in the world of fishing

Yes this is the 20th annual I believe.  Open to anyone with a boat with livewells.  It was won a couple years ago by 2 anglers in boat with only an electric motor.   Final details will be posted when I get them.

I'm thinking they were planning on some Clinton River fishing...? Seen that before though one year the guys brought in a 13 inch largemouth that lost them their really big one as well (and the tournament).

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

They never left the launch bay that year.   I think they only had 4 fish but they weighed 13 pounds.

the year before it was a sinking row boat with a cooler I believe.  One of them was bailing the boat out while the other fished.

I fished out of a sinking homemade bass boat for many years. I had 3 bilge pumps plus the movable pump in my homemade cooler-livewell that I could pull out and toss somewhere if needed.

Funny... in 'the old days' I fished, maybe a club tournament, on Cass Lake with a guy in a homemade bass boat that started to take on water suddenly really bad. I remember trying to keep fishing because the bass were schooling really good around us. At one point I had to run forward because the entire back of the boat was going under water!?! Don't think we were able to fish the whole event that year?!?
