I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Dan:

I saw yesterday that there is an affiliate program(non-exclusive) with BPS.  If you put a link to their site on the boards, any time someone links to them from here and buys anything, you get paid a commission.  You can possibly use that to offset board costs, as well as buy prizes for the DK open if there is any cash left.  Just a though as a way for us board users to help you offset the costs, since we all know we are gonna go there and buy stuff anyway.

any thoughts?

Thanks jack. I've been approached before by one online shop a while ago. I've looked at a couple others. Just like all of you, I'm always looking for ways to make more fishing money and of course, I'd prefer this site doesn't cost me too  much fishing money.

I'm keeping it under control by taking it a step or two at a time. The Google ads will offset a small part - maybe half a tank of gas a month - not a get rich quick scheme, but every little bit helps.

I'll look at it and add it to my possibilities. And as I've said before, I probably will add regular advertising once I reformat the rest of my website. I know you will all understand it is just so I can keep this going and improving (and make a little fishing money maybe if it really goes well).

Thanks again - I really appreciate all the help you are all willing to provide, but nothing is expected and their are no obligations (other than staying the friendly and helpful anglers you all are). :)

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
