It's coming together now. We will need about 25 boater volunteers to take out the kids from Crossroads for Youth in our 3rd annual Fish'n'Friends event.

Saturday July 26th 2008
Lake Orion public ramp near Oxford MI
Fish from ~7 AM until 11:30

Luncheon at Crossroads for Youth hall in Oxford Mi on Drahner Rd

Please make a difference in a child's life and volunteer to help out as a boater or other volunteer. Take a kid fishing. Boaters will go in a drawing for a free Garmin NUVI.

Boater volunteers, please be at the public ramp on Lake Orion by 6:30 AM to prepare.

Anthony Adams and I will be arranging rods, reels, tackle boxes and life jackets (for the day only) to use. We are still working on live bait so bring some if you can. Panfish-sized hooks are helpful to. We are not sure what terminal tackle we will have yet. The goal is for everyone - kids and chaperones - to catch something for our 'contest!' If you would like to donate towards these needs too, that would be greatly appreciated.

Important - all boaters please contact me ahead of time so we can make sure we have enough boats to take 50 or so kids out fishing!
