Lake Wisconsin Open Tournament

This is always a good tournament to start the season.

The tournament on Saturday was both cold, windy with waves ranging from 4-5 feet, and a water temperature drop of 10 degrees. Even with the tough condtions, it took 18 pounds to win and I somehow managed to catch big bass weighing 4.79 on a black and blue jig. Many largemouth were caught with a few smallmouth mixed in. The bass seemed to want a slow moving jig or a spinnerbait. It was still a fun tournament!
