How do you catch surface feeding Crappie?

How do you catch surface feeding Crappies?
Many times I have been frustrated by surface feeding crappies.
What is the solution.

I saw them doing this the other morning on a lake and I threw a bass popper into the school. One of the crappies took the popper after 1 or 2 small pops. Wasn't even a real big crappie. Try a small, quiet topwater minnow.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Try a 3" Gulp Minnow on a floating jighead. Work it like you would work a fluke.
