Fished a local river from my kayak on Monday. Water is still a little high and it made it a little tough to fish. Landed 5 smallies all between 14-17.5 inches. Also got a handful of rock bass. The rivers around mid michigan should continue to heat up as the water levels get lower. Got all my fish on jigs made by Chippewa Lures teamed up with trailers made by Heavy Metal Custom Lures, both michigan made products

Fishing rivers with high water can be challenging in any boat or situation. Sounds like you did pretty good. Don't forget to link to any pictures or video your sharing out there.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Will do Dan! I'm still working my way through the videos I took to try and get some good action shots

Well it appears all the pics/videos I took with my gopro are too large to upload on here

you can use photobucket to resize them

You might be able to get away with it through your photo gallery on the forum and then copy the medium link it automatically creates into your post. I have to have some limit or I get pictures sometimes from people that cause upload problems or blow the forum out of proportion. Sorry. Maybe I can do something better once I get to a more device-independent format - working on that in my spare time.
