Keep forgetting to post this. It was announced at the December 9 TBF of Michigan meeting that the 2013 State Championship will be Sunday, June 2 on Burt and Mullett Lakes.

This is the day after the BFL event on the same waters. The entry fee is $100 which includes big bass entry.

Payout will be announced later. Launch ramp and other details to be announced.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

UPDATED 5/26/2013: Mandatory Saturday meeting time and place, and official launch ramp from TBF of Michigan president Dave Reault:

This is a reminder the deadline for entry into the State Fish Off is this Saturday, May 25th. We are launching from the Tuscarora Township boat launch between Burt and Mullett Lakes at the mouth of the Little Sturgeon River where it meets the Indian River. The mandatory pre-tournament meeting will be at the Tuscarora Township boat launch Saturday June 1st in the evening. Registration is between 5:30pm and 6:30pm, and the meeting at 7:00pm. You must be registered by 6:30pm!

The Tuscarora Township boat launch is located at approximately 3401 Nabanois Trail in Indian River Michigan. It is part of their Marina Park where the township also provides boat trailer overflow parking. Launching / parking is $5. (Google map coordinates approximate: 45.412762,-84.608236 - see the map below)

The Indian River Tourist Bureau is hosting and sponsoring the 2013 TBF of Michigan State Championship. The following link will take you to their site for lodging: http://www.irtourism.com/accomodations.html. It would be appreciated if you could support their businesses while you are in the area. Topinabee Johnson Motel is offering special bass tournament fishermen room rates for the event and some rooms are still available if you hurry.

If you know any co-anglers that are going to be at the BFL have them get with your club president to join and fish if you think they may be interested. Our tournament date is June 2nd.

The Youth Tournament is June 9th and we still need volunteers, especially boaters.

If you need more information on the State Fish Off or the Youth Tournament contact me at C21row 'at' aol 'dot' com or 734-718-4711.

Thanks,
Dave

I will confirm, but I believe the boat ramp Dave refers to is the new township park at the mouth of the Little Sturgeon River at the Indian River off of Nabanois Road - the Tuscarora Township boat launch across from their new Marina Park.

Confirmed with Mark Modrak, TBF of Michigan VP.

There was a picture of the qualifiers somewhere. I don't have the official results or any pictures yet but here is an image Matt or someone posted on Facebook:
