tool & die, electrician, mach repair,pipefitter

The Ford plant I work at in Saline ,Mi. is hiring all the above. Must be a journyman. Tools provided. The plant has been sold to an interior co. call faurecia. The pay is 28.00 i'm pretty sure and not sure of the benefits. You can reply for more info or call security at 734 429 6900 and ask for info. Just thought id put it out there.

I am transferring. But the new company is still looking for people as others transfer. Especially electricians

I just saw another post and it got me thinking. They do need welders also. They can pick up on other things as they go. Probably be gen. Maintenance

One of our tool and die people went there. I am told I am leaving Nov 5th. But they are keeping it a secret. I think they got tired of people complaining. So now they are waiting. They will be ramping up at the old mazda plant now that it is a 100% ford plant. Adding another shift. The rumor is thats where the leftovers go

Hi Guys,

I'm an electrician at Michigan Assembly and we are hearing they are adding an entire crew at Flatrock. They are also playing with the idea of moving the Taurus their to make more space in Chicago for the Explorer since its sales are through the roof.

Thats what I am hearing. I was hopeing to go to MAP as a Toolmaker but that isn't looking like its gonna happen. I heard there are 2 on the line which they will bring up first. I hope they let me re-skill. Electrician is my first choice. Stationary steam #2. Still no word. Frustrating

We just put a PF that was on the line on as an Electrical apprentice and are adding 6 more reskills, all as electricians.

At least their getting everyone back on their tools. Even if its different ones
