An update from Ken at RecLending.com:

Normally when something happens in the world of boat loans, we either don’t get too excited or we all hang on to our wallets. This time it’s something GOOD and HELPFUL. We at RecLending are very excited to announce we have formed a new relationship with a lender based in Mid-Michigan. These guys are very competitive and interested in the boat business. It is a Credit Union so there are some membership qualifications. If you are looking at changing boats or even refinancing the one you currently own, this might be what you are looking for. Mostly applies to Michigan residents.

Please give RecLending.com the chance to see if they can help you out. They have helped many anglers get the boat they want with the warranty they need.

I don't know much about state-specific details but RecLending is very active with anglers from quite a few states. They participate actively on a number of fishing and boating websites. They serve boaters in many states. If you have questions about your situation and how they might apply, please contact them.

are these rules different in every state?

Not really rules that are different, lenders are different.  Some we work with are regional and they do not cover the entire country.  We have a couple really great connections for Michigan people and that can be an advantage.  Let us know how we can help.
