This is a tale of two lakes. Intertwined lakes, in Barry County, Michigan. Where somehow the water has gone away. Upper and Lower Crooked Lakes, both near and dear to me, are suffering from the lowest water levels I've seen in the 35+ years I've been fishing them.

Hey Poorboy!!!

Since we're heading down to fish the biggest tournament of our lives to date, and could potentially launch our careers as Pro Bass Dudes... I'm a little stumped as to what we should take.

Maybe we can ask the kids in the playhouse to help us with some suggestions.

Beer and deoderant is all i need.

I was thinking some leftover heart-shaped venison meat loaf might open some doors???

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

I'm thinking a bag of Porkrinds (might double as a jig trailer if necessary), and the costco bottle of pepto - could dip your plastic tails in it for something the fish have never seen before.

Oh - a few GLB decals and hats would probably spring your pro- careers as well.

Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them

I might have to start a spreadsheet to keep track of all the plugs you all give the site ;D

Bingo!  That is probably the best suggestion.  If there are two things we will probably be needing, those are it.
