Spent Friday on the water w/ Art and my wife. We had a great day on Kissimmee! The weather was beautiful, 81-82ish, occasional light breeze, the fish were cooperative for the most part.
Scott
p.s. He caught a beautiful 7lb 10oz bass that was dead-set on burying in the pads but ended-up in the boat for a few pics before going back to the water.
So did you get any shiner bass yourself? Any good ones of note?
Any pics?
Forgot to ask you my question at the show about this.
The shiner bite was off in the early morning, we got all of our fish on plastics, Art was working Senkos, Paula had a fluke, and I was "testing" my new Patriot worms. Later in the day the shiner bite picked-up but only when there was a slight breeze moving the water. We found a spot, had some nice bass then the mudfish moved in...
As for the "good ones of note", they're ALL good when you're fishing in the middle of February with the smell of 2-stroke exhaust in the morning! My biggest was probably over 4, we had a bunch of 2-3lbers.
I'll get some pics up shortly.
Here are a couple pics from our outting, I can't stress enough how great the day was...
Nice!
Shorts in February... Heck, I don't wear shorts any month!
Trying to figure out that 2nd picture... if the camera is in the picture... how did you get the picture ???
