HAZMAT crews contain fuel on lake
Belleville— Police and hazardous materials teams converged on Belleville Lake on Sunday morning after reports of a sunken paddleboat. The boat apparently sank overnight Saturday and contained diesel fuel in an onboard tank, according to a Belleville Police official.
By Sunday afternoon, he said, the small amount of spilled fuel had been contained by HAZMAT crews.
Maybe it was the River Queen or some such...??
