Please help me welcome the newest GreatLakesBass.com advertiser sponsor - joshimoto son and Angling A.I. (http://anglingai.com) - Angling ArtiFISHal Intelligence!
About Angling AI:
Visit Angling AI for your aluminum fishing mold and custom bait design needs. Our flagship mold, "The Alpha Craw", was designed as a flippin' bait that allows a 4/0 straight-shanked hook to stay skin hooked and take the abuse of going through heavy vegetation. The Alpha Craw also holds a 4/0 EWG hook very well.
Although most of it's time in the water has been spent attached to a 1 ounce tungsten weight, it has also caught many fish on a texas rig! The baits are from a prototype mold and inject very well for not having any air reliefs in yet.
Angling AI lets the do-it-yourself individual or custom lure maker create unique lures and colors to give you or your customers an edge! Swimbaits, stick worms, tubes, craws, creature baits, worms, grubs and more!

In order to be very clear... are you talk to me...? Or joshimoto son?!? (oh please, oh please!)??

Yes, that’s exactly what I plan on doing. In the near future I will have the ability to go from concept to finished product in one place. The finished product not being the mold, but the true bait itself, as I have been pouring plastics for five plus years and have a small shop set up already.
It is not my intent to go into the bait business. I am more interested in making aluminum chips fly. I have some great relationships with several bait manufactures and believe that I can provide excellent service to all without conflict. I look forward to hearing from you.
Now… the formalities.
This is the first time I will say it, and it will definitely not be the last. I have bought many molds from April and Del of Del-mart, Bear, Kevin with Basstackle and Sean and Kim with LureCraft. They all have been very helpful and courteous when I have talked to them and do not dislike any of their products. I just have my own ideas and hope I can make a little extra money doing it.
GreatLakesBass is going to be my sounding board. I don’t need my own forum when Dan has put in countless hours building a great site. I told him I want this to be “win, win” for both of us, and we want everybody to be involved. Although I have the ability, I may hold off on the bait that has an image of Dan’s face on it.
I am in the process of putting my shop together and will not rush anything that may sacrifice my quality. Believe me, the day I can start putting product on-line cannot get here fast enough. The good thing is that we have all winter to get you geared up and your shelves stocked in time for show season.

The BROmance grows stronger everyday! ::)
-
Well... I guess if 'like' is the best I can get...?? I'll get over it.
Josh... not too sure about the bait with my face on it. Can you see fish swiftly swimming the other way?!? Not good. Maybe McCarters face? He says chicks dig him...
-
Would it then be marketed as a spawning bait?
-
Lots of options... lots of options...
-
i'm in for the bait with dans face on it,think of the stories to tell to your buddy's........"yup thats the one they were gobbling up....neon dan" :D.....ssshhhhhhh :-X......is that copy right infringement if i want to make a bait with dan's face on it ;D :D ;D
-
Thank you for supporting GLB dude.
-
I can't remember if my face is trademarked... or copyrighted??
-
I am pretty sure it is Treadmarked :) :)

It's looking like I'm going to have to try and come up with a prototype.
-
No... joke. joke.
-
So are we up and running yet?! I'm itching for a new worm mold..., or two! ;D

This sounds great! I too, like the idea of a "gross" of Dan's face baits. I'll take my first batch cinnamon roll scented
-
Maybe a 6" straight worm in Hot Dog color, with the same scent added.
-
Maybe a new color? Chili dog? He must be feverishly working on it since I haven't heard from him hardly at all for a while. Joshimoto? You out there?!?
-
I'm here... Sorry all, I still haven't found an engineering job yet and in order to pay the bills I've had to take a job doing service and installation for a heating and cooling company.
Needless to say, since it started getting cold, I've been pulling some very long hours.
The shop is up and running and am working on getting my first order out. I will post some pics when I get them complete. I am very particular when it comes to my product and I want them to be perfect.
Starting out on a low budget is "trying" to say the least. I hope to get a couple of more molds perfected before I get put together a website, I'm hoping soon though.
I will probably start a new thread and throw some things up for discussion.

Got to check out Josh's set-up the other evening and some of the work he's been doing to fabricate needed equipment. Top notch and every bit as perfect as you can imagine coming from an engineer. The man has more good ideas floating around in his head than I could muster in a lifetime. Some of his "test/learning" molds were absolutely awesome but to him...nope, it wasn't perfect yet. I've already put in a request for a couple molds (alpha craws!) and am very confident that this will be the last place I shop for a mold or to have a mold concept fabricated!
