Does anyone have a Blazer or know whether they are decent boats?

You don't see many in the north country. There's a few boat owners in Michigan. They seem to be designed more for speed freaks than pure anglers, but I have almost no first hand knowledge of them. I've never rode in one. Just talked to a few anglers who own them. I'm always a little leery about the boats that are designed to be on the light side for the big, rough water we have in this region.

It seems there might be one member here who owns one, but I can't recall who it is off the top of my head. I know you don't want to be flying along and hit a big boat wake with one from an angler who contacted me a few years back from out west.

I wouldn't recommend one of these lighter, go-fast hulls to anyone who is not a veteran bass boat driver just because of what happened to my out west friend. Safer at least for someone who is used to running performance hulls found in most bass boats. Too short a margin of error in all modern bass boat hulls and these light, speed hulls cut it even shorter.

Doug Ward has one from the Big Rapids area.

That must be somewhat recent? He had a Champion last I knew. I can't remember if I ever convinced him to sign-up or not? Maybe you can get him to post when you are done winning the BASS Northern Open? :)

I was thinking about getting one.  Good thing I posted on here.  Thanks for your input.  I like the Champions but the price difference pushes me away.  I will keep looking... Thanks again.
