Title: Kalamazoo Area
Post by: RyanLuft on May 18, 2010, 02:32:29 PM
If there is anyone in the Kalamazoo area that is looking for a non-boater fishing partner, feel free to get in touch with me.  I'm getting a little tired of being restricted to the limited shore areas of these fantastic local lakes.  Being that I am in grad school currently, there is little hope of getting a boat of my own for a while...

In addition, I am not opposed to traveling a little for opportunities.

Surprising nobody wants to take a new guy fishing, if I had a boat I would take you out all the time.

look on some websites and find some bassclubs in the area, or you could always go to D and R and ask Randy about clubs in the area.  They're more localized there so you should get more information.  Clubs are probably the easiest way to get started when you don't know anyone in the area, and you'll learn a ton and maybe qualify for some of the big tourneys.  When the boat gets up we'll hit the water a few times.

That's very impressive McCarter.  I pride myself on getting others out fishing, but I come no where close to your numbers.
