Title: Lance Valentine's Big Detroit River Musky
Post by: djkimmel on May 03, 2010, 12:25:01 AM
The secret of the big Detroit River muskies is slowly and steadily getting out but it still presents a great fishing opportunity for true trophy musky fishing.

Many are being caught by walleye anglers. Check out this monster trophy landed by Walleye 101 (http://www.walleye101.com) owner and seminar teacher Lance Valentine.

Lance's report on the big fish: "April 27, 2010.  49.25"  and around 40lbs!  Detroit river jigging for walleye.  6lb Fireline, 3/4 oz "Thump! 'em up" jig with a camo Thump!'em up worm and a stinger!  Revived and released unharmed!"

If you're into walleye fishing at all, make sure you check out Walleye 101 (http://www.walleye101.com). Thump!'em up products are Lance's own brand.
