I took what I learned from the first craw attempt and all the great input I got from everyone, so this is what I came up with. Two different versions, really. One is more on the green side, the other more brown. Both are much darker than the Rusty Craw I posted last week.
NICE!!!! as usual
I will pick them and all of your other "test subjects" up at Wonderland this weekend to try and provide feedback.
Wow, take a look at the larger pics to see the amazing detail. Nice job !!!
Simply the Best!
Thanks guys. I'm trying to get a different look on these baits, so they are still a work in progress. I'll probably keep messing around with the color combinations and how the plates are laid out for a while (or until I get tired of "tinkering" :D).
The first word that comes to mind is AMAZING
I think we got a winner, Ill be making an order for 1000 baits to be painted in that pattern here soon...

Tim, I give discounts on orders over 1000, so you may want to make it 1001. :D

Funny you mentioned Dare Devil. I painted up one of those a week or two ago. I'll have your stuff waiting for you at my table (unless someone makes me a really good offer...). :o
those baits look to pretty to get wet. looks like I will be hearing the wiz of you tossing cranks for a while this spring. might even have to put the drop shot rod down and throw one myself...

Thanks Cliff.
Jeff - on the cranks that have the adjustable weight system, what size hooks would you suggest?

I use a #4 for both, but you could probably go as big as a #2 for the bottom hook. IMO, though, the #4 is the perfect size. Thanks again for stopping by!
