Looks like a good schedule....some lakes I fished awhile back and others I have never fished.  Should be a great summer 2010 for fishing.

It will be interesting to see if Gun Lake will still be in the spawn pattern...

Maybe on the south end of the lake.  Usually after the first week it is pretty much wrapping up and really hitting stride in post-spawn patterns.  Tourney weights drop substantially after the first week or two of the season.  There are some bigger smallies in there that only seem to get caught off the beds.  It is kinda weird to me.

Can you tell me what the website is for the schedule/rules/etc.?

This is the site:

http://www.spi-int.org/

But it doesn't look like they've updated the fishing tournament section yet.  Soon I'm sure.

As for the rules... pretty basic rules just like you'll see at most tournaments.  You can view them here:

This "warm" January weather has given me the itch....I think I might go home and clean a reel or two..Speaking of equipment, has anyone bought the new Skeet Reese Rods yet?

Picked one up and check it out at the Novi show. I thought it looked and felt pretty good. The tip seemed very sensitive, I think I said that it reminded me of an ice fishing rod.
Seems priced to sell.
I already had made my G Loomis purchase, so I was tapped out at that point.

Too bad...The way the rod looks, description, and reviews all look good to me.

What do you mean 3 or 4?  That isn't going to cut it.  You better rearrange your schedule son!

Well the Gun lake one is a real long drive for me, and Aug 7th is my sisters wedding(i know what's more important :) )  So those 2 are out..and the rest are all about my work schedule..I'll be at croton for sure, 1st muskegon, white, prob grand river, and Hardy is the other up in the air.
