Title: Secord Lake
Post by: Potter on April 06, 2006, 02:36:32 PM
Dropped the boat in Tuesday at Secord (close to home).  Water was 38.5 and clear"ish" on the main lake and 40.1 and chocolate milk off of the main lake.  There was still ice half way up the main lake and on many of the coves and cuts.  Had 2 hits jigging along the channel in the lower end of the main lake.  Just a little too early maybe ;D.  Beats the heck out of staying home though.

Wow! That cold yet and still ice. Not that far North I thought...

The ice must still have been there because that lake is so narrow most of the way.  The areas that the sun could actually hit were fine.  The water level was very close to normal.  At least I was out of the 30 mph wind!  It was a nice day around here today, so I'm pretty sure the hard water problem is gone.
