Anyone fishing in the chanels yet? Is it still too early? I might give it a go this weekend but did not want to waste my time.(not that it really would be wasting time as I would be learning) Appreciate any feedback. Pm me if you don't want to broadcast any info.
There are always fish in the channels, but the big push doesn't happen until late summer/early fall. Labor Day week end when I usually started hitting the channels. Right now there are plenty of greenfish up there.
There are scattered, but quality bass in the lower end of the channels now. Not the really good fishing yet but a nice potential average size the previous 2 weekends.
