Title: Traverse City Area Smallmouth Fishing Lake Leelanau
Post by: Bigbass201 on February 04, 2022, 05:43:39 AM
Timing is everything when hitting the lakes up in northern Michigan.  Jim and I hit Lake Leelanau just a smidge early last spring.  Weather was rain and mist, but we did get some filming in between those times and caught some good fish.  Come along for a spring smallmouth fishing trip.

Not the best weather but you guys toughed it out.  Lots of walleye in there as you guys found out but also one of my favorite smallie lakes.  Lots of them and a good number of bigger fish.  I hope to hit it on Memorial weekend when I make my annual trip up there.

I'll be in the area one week before that with my wife.  I don't know if I'll back over there or not.   So many lakes and so little time.  lol
