I went down to the Shiawassee for a little river fishing this morning. What a great time! I caught 3 nice smallies and way to many pike :o. One thing that this little trip re-enforced was totally fishing an area from every point. All my fish were caught in an area about 150ft long with a river width of about 30ft. If I can only transfer this knowledge to fishing from my boat I'll be all set! ;D
