I'm headed up to Charlevoix, Walloon and GTB the week of October 8th.....Never been up there this late in the year hopefully I catch them at the right time...I want to get on the Bay one day so hopefully the wind doesn't blow all week..

I bet you time that right!  I just got back from there and those smallmouth were really scattered and hard to catch after 8:30 am.   I was there labor day week.  Those flats should be on fire!  Hope you get them.  Beautiful area up there.  Headed back again next spring.  Jim did a great job on this video.

Hey motocross, good luck when ya go, we filmed this in mid may, a spring bite, we noticed when there some lakes had fish on beds, some lakes were pre, some were post spawn, I'll bet a fall bite will be baitfish related, don't rule out some of the smaller lakes in the area whose names dont necessarily make the magazine articles, they're all loaded with fish, one of those smaller lakes could be the sleeper that makes your trip great, keep me posted on how ya do, I'll be curious, once again, good luck
