Title: White Lake (Oakland Co.)
Post by: mikesmiph on June 21, 2018, 12:54:44 PM
I have a Mexican gentleman at my work who has never been bass fishing before. He's been bugging me for a year to take him. Finally going to go this Sunday. I pondered many lakes and I think I decided on White. Secretly for lunch at the Inn, but the fishing there can be great too. It's been a few years since I've been there. I really want him to have a good time and catch some bass. Any general tips? I've read all the old posts I can find and it's looking like top water in the morning and docks later. Hard to teach someone how to fish docks on their first trip out. Any other suggestions would be great. Thanks guys and gals. P.S. Anyone else going to be out there? Maybe we can meet up for lunch LOL.

Yep  Top water on the points.  Then just fish shallow.  You don't really have to fish docks.  The fish are cruising around eating blue gills.  Waky rig is probably the best for him to throw shallow.
