Title: Vibe Sea Ghost 130
Post by: Mike S. on February 21, 2018, 06:57:42 PM
I'm going to jump in to the kayak fishing this year. I need a change of pace and scenery. This morning I ordered a new Vibe Sea Ghost 130. I've never been on a kayak in my life. Can't wait to see what this thing is all about.

I'll look forward to some reports and impressions from you on how it's going. They keep trying to talk me in to one. I can barely pare down my tackle to fit into a row boat. Not sure how I'll ever make it in to a kayak??

I have 2 regular Kayaks but have looked at that one and a couple others.   Fished a Kayak vs Boater event last year.  They have a great system to score fish and release them.   Might give a couple events a try this year.

I had a Hobie Pro Angler 14.  Loved it on inland.  Scared me a tad on st Clair.  A little hard to be seen by the big boats.

Really cool for frogging.  You can get places your big boat can't.

Don't forget to practice falling out and getting back in.  Also, they sell a foam thingy that wraps around your rod so if you drop it it floats.  Well worth a few bucks they cost.

I may get one again one day.

You guys keep talking about it, and even trying it, and maybe I'll work up the courage and fortitude (to pare down my tackle) and give it a try too!

You crack me up!  This thing is 13' long and 3' wide. I will have a GoPro mounted on it. I'm also getting everything together to mount one of my Helix 10s on it. I'll just pop the bow unit off the Ranger and plug it in to the yak. I'm pumped. Can't wait to get this thing on the water.
