Wasn't us... we aren't anywhere near the team areas once the teams come out. Only way before the game and after the game when all the players have left.

We wear BLUE of course too since we are in-house and have MST for Michigan Sports Television on our BLUE vests to identify us 'special.' ;D

It was very crowded all the way around the field before the game. I think I heard they gave out almost 200 passes just for recruits and guests. There's all kinds of other people down there up to 30 minutes before game time including press, armed forces guests, VIPs, event staff, sideline people, etc., etc. I've actually seen it a lot more crowded even then his though for a game or two in the past. But the majority of those people do have to leave the field edge area by the 30 minute mark.

There was a lot of press there too but they are generally are in the ends during the game the most crowded. I've seen a lot more press crowded in before too than there was at this game though it was pretty busy whenever Michigan was heading towards our end (North). cameraguy and I stick to the NW corner (the student corner) for the majority of the event.

There probably were more people on the sidelines during the actual game than average because Fox Sports brings a really big crew with lots of cameras. More than any other broadcast crew we see there. Don't know how many cameras they had but I heard they had 35 total for the last broadcast they did at The Big House (which was their 1st time ever there - I think it was the Minnesota game??) - which is a lot of cameras... They may have had even more for this game because I know they added a small crane camera and also had the camera on wires over the game for this one.

Let me tell you though... you don't put a camera anywhere near Coach Harbaugh's team along the sidelines team area during the game unless you want to get your head chopped off... I'm betting ole urban meyer is probably the same...

It probably wasn't a Fox Sports person though because they got fancy for this game and brought their own bright maize/chartreuse vests for some of their crew along the field. I think a few of their camera/crew had other vests on that were up in the stands but I'm not sure now. Still tuckered out.

Usually the 'network' people do wear the brown vests I believe provided by U of M. Also most people with video cameras - local news, whatever, wear brown I believe. Pretty sure gray vests are provided by U of M to photographers - still camera people mostly. Could be anyone from any source still, and sometimes the vests get handed out willy-nilly if they run out or something.

Something weird was happening with that link so I made it an actual forum link code link. Hopefully that fixes the odd issue so people can see the correct destination when they click on it.
