Title: FLW Lewis Smith Lake
Post by: Dan on April 02, 2008, 02:27:15 PM
Tomorrow the Lewis Smith Lake Alabama tournament starts. Weather is suppose to be in the low 70s and the fish are prespawn to spawning. It's noted as a spotted bass lake, but it will take a mixed bag to win it. Today is the last day to update your Fantasy Fishing team. Tomorrow the BASS Elites will also start the Falcon Lake Tournament. Alton Jones predicts it will take over a 100 lbs. of fish to win it. He predicts if the wind stays relatively light that there could be 40 lb. bags of fish weighed. Their weigh ins are streamed live at 5:50 pm. FLW should have their weigh ins at 4:00 pm.

I guarantee I don't make the mistake of taking Shinichi Fukae off of my roster for Scott Martin this time around...lol

Actually they will be staggered just a bit. FLW will start at 4:00 and BASS at 5:50. They indeed will overlap. Myself I am watching the FLW tournament because my buddy Don Fowler from Cadillac and Tony DeFilippo from the Traverse area, and an ex student of mine Nate Wellman of Jenison are fishing the event. Nate and Tony are fishing from the front and Don is a back seater. I'm hoping they do well and fish every day.
