I'm not sure if I will ever use the 2oz models... But I have them if I want too... I like that the 4/0 hook still leaves a good bite even on the 2oz head. Pics of the 3 1/2 inchtubes have the heads inside. Many thought that they would not fit.

. Could have used the 2 oz last week when I was above the Blue Water Bridge in Lake Huron drifting in 45 feet of water.
Is that Lead of Gold you use for weight.
White gold... These would make a good technique for ledge fishing... I sell them to wealthy guys like you...

Heck I am a Poor, Old, Retired Guy. At least that is what my wife calls me.
You'll have to try out those 2 ouncers and let us know how well they hook up??
I'm going to get some 5/0 and 6/0 hooks for these... I like the Owner hooks and they are sharp.... But expensive.

I ordered bulk 5/0 hooks for the tube heads.... Now to put them to work in the current..
That might work better for 2 ounce tube heads. Hopefully you're catching big ole bass with big ole mouths!
No worries... I have been catching smallies on these heavy heads just fine with 4/0 hooks. I think a little bigger will only help. I have others using and catching with them as well. Some are requesting a 6/0. LOL.. I changed the mold some by moving the line tie eye back to center/neutral balance because I didn't like the way the tube was tracking. I'm kinda picky. LOL..
Have you actually used the 2 oz heads fishing??
