So my son stepped on my Fathoms and broke the frame. I sent it to Costa for repair and got an email telling me it would be $10... and if I wanted to order new lenses, they could do them for $69. I was gonna pass on the lenses because I don't have the extra bucks, then the lady said since the frames are back ordered for more than a month, they'd just send me a whole new pair for the $10. NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE!
That's why I buy Costas. Great service.
they last forever too
Mine have been around a long, long time though they are showing the wear and tear now.
Just out of curiosity, what lens color did you go with when you originally bought them?
That is excellent customer service. Great share!
They are probably the best sight fishing glasses I have owned... I lost 3 pair in 1 year. So I decided I cant afford to buy these anymore. I bought some other cheap ones and have had them for 5 years. I cant seem to loose them. LOL... When I say lost, I mean sucked off my face or out of my boat at 80+ mph LOL.
You should invest in a good lanyard AFTER you lose your present pair and get a new pair of Costas! ;D
The ones I lost had croakies on them. I left one at a restaurant. LOL Two got sucked out of the windshield cavity. 8^(
And you still lost them. Maybe your boat is too fast?!? ;D

BOAT TOO FAST?!? ;D
These three words don't belong in the same sentence... LOL
ive already made my money back on solar bat with their contingency program though
Similar story - I had a fish whack me in the face once, knocking the glasses in the water. Grabbed em fast, but I was missing a lense. They went in B Macs console and soon forgotten for like 4 years. This year he said - 'hey look what I found'. ;D
SO I called Costa for replacements, but they said the Frigates are now obsolete. However, for $98 they'd replace the 580g green mirrored ones with a brand new pair of my choice. After some 'select' conversation, I chose the Corbina 580 G and agreed to $59!
Ummm - That's some good customer service right there.
PS: And these fellas wrap 98% to my brows, cheeks, and temples and otherwise meat head so no sun light comes in. YES get a good lanyard !!!!!! I feel these are the VERY best sight fishing glasses I've ever had. This year I'm seeing more fish in 7 - 10 fow than I have in 4 years.
Good service ? TRUTH .
i have an almost brand new pair of costas for 80$ if anyone wants to buy some.
