Title: BFL???
Post by: motocross269 on December 04, 2007, 03:09:40 PM
I haven't seen anyone posting for boater/CO linkups this year for the BFLs??? Is that a sign that people are cutting back or is everyone pretty well paired up??
I have to cut back this year so I will probably only fish 2 or 3....I am not going to link-up because I am not 100 percent sure of my status for the year.  I will probably try to link up just before the priority deadline..
Any thoughts???

I'm just waiting to hear about the passport deal. I'll probably end up fishing Michigan division again. Last year I signed up at the end of January for all 5 and was confirmed without a boater by the end of April. Will do the same this year. TANGLER, if you want to link like we did last year, if you've even thought about it yet, let me know, I'll be more than happy to help you out again. I just have to remember to make the phone calls this time.

I'll be looking to confirm with a boater for the michigan div. for all of the events. I'm not sure if by signing up early would put one in for the season or not.... So if anyone out there wants to, give me a shout please ....

thanks Don

Don you may want to start your own thread, that way if someone is scanning the board they may catch it...Good luck, you should be able to find someone.

Co-anglers that pay for all tournaments early have the best chance of fishing all the events.

The only guaranty is to sign up for all events prior to priority deadline as a boater / co-angler pair.

But the next best odds go to co-anglers signing up early for all of them. You have to be early enough on the list that you'll have 30 or 40 nonmatched boaters signed up too without 50 or 60 co-anglers on the list before you.

I'll be signing up for all the MI BFL's this year as a boater, but not until later towards spring. I'll keep my money in the bank and make a little interest (very little but better than nothing) If a co-angler wants to arrange to signup now we can. but just want you know that I won't sign up until late March or into April.
