Title: Anyone fish Walloon Lake
Post by: Jack1998 on September 25, 2015, 10:22:27 AM
I'm going to fish there this weekend. I was wondering if anyone has ever fished it. Seems like a good lake.

Jack1998,

Yes it's a pretty good lake, good mix of smallie's and largemouth.  You'll have fun they've been biting.

Thanks bwebber,
I heard its a great place to catch a mixed bag as well. Do you have any suggestions on which arm to launch in i was thinking either the north or west arm but may try the main lake to.

I would launch at the Gruler Rd. launch on the North end of the East arm and fish all of the outer edges of flats on the breaks sometimes out to 13-14 ft of water.  If you have any breeze, use action baits, if not the old Tube and Dropshot will work.  Make note to fish every weed bed or clump of weeds that you might find.
