Had a bear come in to our bird feeder at the cabin last night. We regularly get coons that fight at the feeder. Heard some low growls and took the flashlight to chase the coons away only to find a crippled up black bear. His left front leg was damaged in some way. It seemed really difficult for him to walk. He hung around until we banged on the window. The feeder is about 10 feet from our bedroom window. We've been going to the cabin for 35 years and this is the second bear we've seen.
