Title: Big Northern Strain largemouth
Post by: big tom on February 03, 2015, 09:33:54 PM
Hey Guys!
I have not been posting for too long...my Guiding has been very busy as well as sponsor responsibilities.
Pre fishing a local U.P. reservoir last August I was surprised with the 7.78 lb Toad... She hit a swim jig/skinny dipper combo in a thick cabbage patch near a dock. I was using a Dobyns
703C, Lews BB1 Pro, filled with Gamma 12# Edge... The local MDNR biologist said it was one of the heaviest public water northern strain bass they have ever recorded...surprised me because I have heard lots of stories of guys catching 8 pounders.
