Title: Provider Drop Shot Weights
Post by: Slipkey on June 20, 2007, 08:53:01 PM
I purchased some of Art Ferguson's drop shot weights over at Provider tackle (http://www.providertackle.com/) the other day and and wanted to give a recommendation.

For those who haven't seen these weights they have an odd shape that does a great job of transmitting the bottom of the area you're working - way better than a rounded weight.

I was dubious about the extra sensitivity and ordered them because he sold them in heavier weights for fishing strong current, but after using them for a few hours different areas, I can say I'm impressed. :)

Art's service was good and delivery was fast.  He showed he really appreciates the business and wrote a hand written note on the shipping list and included a sample pack of his tube jigs in the order.

On a side note, I ordered a few of his swim jigs as well.  I haven't had a chance to use them yet, but after looking them over, the quality is first rate.
