So I was watching this Youtube clip today https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UR0aLzR6O0 from last year over 4th of July weekend. The guide said the fish were just moving up. In 2013, I saw spawning fish in the south end of East Bay on June 10th. Were things that far behind last year? I wasn't able to take a vacation last June so I wasn't there. Just curious.
Yes, You dont remember the Snowiest Coldest Winter on record?
we went mid-june and it looked like it was almost done on both bays. Now i'm sure you can move north and find it in prime time well past the 4th.
just looked it up - was june 28th.
here's our video ;)

Thigs were so jacked up up here last year. We were bed fishing in the beginning of august. They were still spawing but just kickin out black rotted eggs. The water temps never got above 70 at all last year. They barely made the mid 60's Made the fishing kinda suck because there was no summer pattern on any body of water here

Nice video! What swimbait were you guys using?
Cool video , I fished that area the first week of Sept. The water was cold, fish were at 40 ft to 60 ft. Drop shot was still catching fish.
Skinny dipper on a 2k deposit swim jig with no skirt. We had 2 6lbers in that area in the morning before the cameras were on on that same bait.
Super Cool Video! You guys are getting some pretty sweet shots with those go pros
thanks. my buddy JB did all the work really. he lives in the area and came out with us for a few hours. check out some of his other videos on youtube, he does a nice job with them
