Title: The Bay is on Fire!!!
Post by: gmetime24 on September 10, 2014, 07:27:44 AM
We have been spending a good amount of time on the bay for the last 3 weeks and it has payed off. The smallies are starting to put on their fall feed bags. Our last two trips have produced some amazing fish. One trip we had our best 5 over 22lbs with big fish being 21inch 5lbs 8oz. We beat that our next time out on Sunday with best 5 going 24lbs 6oz with big fish a 6lb 4oz beast. Fish are coming shallow and once you find them it's non stop action. Water temps have been 66 in the morning and maybe touching 70 by the afternoon. We've had fish  choking big 3/4 oz lipless cranks, jerkbaits and tubes
