Title: Selling a bunch of stuff
Post by: mikesmiph on September 08, 2014, 10:39:15 AM
Well guys and gals, looks like my fishing days may be over for a while. Sorry I haven't been active on the site for a long time. Been trying to work things out. Not doing well financially and I guess I never made any real friends. I've been fishing once all year thanks to Frank. I haven't been fishing in over two months so I see no real reason to keep a room full of equipment. I have Curados and other reels, including one CI4 spinning. I have a bunch of Grandt rods and boxes and boxes of tackle. If you have any interest just give me a call. 810-394-1820. I don't answer my phone much, so leave me a message and I will get back to you. Going to miss a few of you, but not sure many will miss me. It's kinda hard to believe anyone cares when you never hear from anyone. So, goodbye to all.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune and I hope things start improving for you soon.  I know the fishing year is starting to slowly wind down, and I know that we have never in person before, but if you want to get out on Lake St. Clair, I'll have an open seat for you.  Due to my work schedule I won't be getting back out until the end of the month, but let me know if your are interested.

Come on up to Portage Lake for the fall DK Open on Oct. 4th.  We will find you a spot.  There's great fishing up there that time of year!

I would have called if my boat was still in working order. Alas, this has not been a lucky year for me. Don't sell your stuff Mike. There's always next year and I owe so many fishing trips still.

Mike,
I'm sorry to hear about the hard times
I know I have enjoyed seeing and talking to you the couple times I do see you threw out the year

I myself don't get out as much as i'd like to these days
You would be missed, So please think about hanging on to the stuff
Things will get better.

I'll never forget your can do spirit on our day ice breaking to get out to Erie and the Hot Pond. And fairly certain many of us have no problem finding you a seat.  It's an adjustment to being a non boater. Reach in yourself, rise up again rebuilt. The only thing in your way...... Is you. Call me so we can get out.
