Title: 10-9 fished Pere Marquette lake
Post by: Grinny on October 09, 2013, 10:21:16 PM
Went to PM lake for the first time tonight, I landed about a dozen bass, mostly smallies. Mainly on tubes, and the largemouths were taken on a spinnerbait. I fished all over, sea walls, rocks, points, shallow, deep... I never really found a good school of fish, just one here, and there. I threw crankbaits, and a rattle trap, as well as a jerk bait for a decent amount of time, but only 2 lures brought fish to the boat. I also landed 4 pike between 25-30 inches, which added to the excitement, although It would be cooler if pike fought for more than 20 seconds before they give up.... :)

No big fish, all between 14-16 inches and the biggest was only about 2.5 pounds. The water was 59-61 degrees.
