I can't think of a reason to EVER fish Lake Mac! LOL!!
Some guys have a hard time catching them at Mac. The group of guys I had at my one on ones didn't have any problems getting limits. It took 13 pounds plus to win there this year. So there's a ton of reasons to fish Mac!!
What Mike (Waterfoul) said, only a few blocks down the road and maybe 2 trips a year. I would quit fishing if that is all there was............

yes that is correct two sundays and the rest saturdays. Season will be over for most so Brian switched them to Saturdays in October.
Ill be in muskegon for the all star event but other than the 29th I should make these. The big ones on the grand will only bite for me in the fall. Maybe because my boat doesnt know what spring lake is. Fished the grand yesterday and today and it is HOT!!!!!

We had a decent turnout today considering the All Star weekend going on!!
We had 8 boats.

Next tournament is next Sunday 7am to 3pm.
Unless something goes terribly wrong, I should have my boat back mid-week. So assuming I don't get sent to China on short notice, I'll be there this weekend!!!
On a side note, I marshaled at the All-Star event this weekend. What an awesome experience.

Only had 4 boats show up today in the nasty weather. Missed out on some great fishing!! All of us caught a bunch of fish!!

Next tournament is next Satuday. The rest of the tournaments will be on Saturdays. 7am to 3pm or safe light. We took off at 7:30 today!! Come on down and fish!! The river bite is turning on!!

I'm not good at guessing weights when I don't weigh them before I put them in the live well!! Last week I guessed high and this week I guessed low!! My bad!! Sorry jimmy!! Lol

I just want to let everyone know that I'm going to plan on going into November with these opens on the river. Sounds like the weather is going to get better on the long range outlook. Last years November fishing was to darn good to pass on. So if I get enough interest I'm going to these till the weather really takes a dump. So don't put your boats away and come on out and take advantage of the good late fall fishing!!

I'm bummed I've missed the last two. Spent last week in Ireland on business and didn't get home till later Friday evening. The week before I had to drive my daughter to Kzoo for my niece's Bday party. I'm going to do everything I can to fish this Sunday!
