Title: Gladwin county trout fishing
Post by: brg_bassmaster on August 05, 2013, 06:27:25 AM
I was just curious to hear how the trout fishing is up near gladwin county or the surrounding areas. I am coming back for leave in mid september from guam and havent trout fished up there since i graduated highschool 7 years ago. Also havent been back to Michigan in 2 yrs. Usually just do alot of late bass fishing and salmon. But want to get my hands on some trout this time around, love small stream fishing. I used to fish the tobacco near my parents house and do pretty good. But would like to try new water to.Thanks for any info.

I know it's a little late but I always had good luck catching smallies and brook trout where O'Dells use to be.  From there and down stream to the city park seemed to always produce brook trout.  Expecially true around the bend.  Nothing huge that I can recall but fun nonetheless.
