Title: talon ?????
Post by: stackenem on January 29, 2013, 05:27:24 PM
I am thinking about putting a talon on my boat but cannot find any info on mounting it between the transom and the motor. I know I need a special bracket but is there a spacer for the other side or does it go under the whole motor bracket. Also how do you know which bracket to buy? Anybody out there have one mounted this way. My boat is a 2006 stratos 285 pro xl with a yamaha 150. if that helps.

Thanks
Stack

Tom Taylor from Case Plastics has 2 on his Ranger.

There is a new adjustable bracket.  so no more guessing what one you need.

Also, make sure you put the fold down brackets on.  I have 2 and it works great!
