How cheep? Some of the cheep hotels, are not in a vary nice area. You need to decide, just how safe you want to be.

It's called the Green Tahoe Motel. It could be in the BPS parking lot. That's strictly for hardcore fishermen.

Yeah, but Juli insists on a king sized bed... The Green Tahoe doesn't offer anything nearly that large.  The air mattress just won't cut it!

I am going to guess that Juli is your beautiful bride of many wonderful years.  So that being said you should go better than a Red Roof.  Like a Hampton or anything with the breakfast in the morning that's included.  Since I work in Auburn Hills right down the street from BPS I know of some hotels that are nice.  I might suggest the Auburn Hills Hotel and Suites at 2200 Featherstone Road, Auburn Hills, MI 48236.  It's very nice and business men and women that frequent the area stay here because of it's close proximity to Chrysler Technical Center.  Closer to BPS is the Fairfield Inn at 1294 Opdyke Road, Auburn Hills, MI 48326.  Rooms at these hotels start in the $60 range but can go up depending what you want.  You can go more expensive like the Hampton that's right by the BPS store however rooms there start at about $119.  But here is the address:  3988 Baldwin Road, Auburn Hills, MI 48326.  To me the best deal is the Fairfield because a king room online is $69 bucks with a 27 inch flatscreen tv as well as king size bed.  Of course a nice bathroom.  And it's nice and clean which should suit the love of your life and I don't mean your boat.   :o   ;D  These places have breakfast included.

Depending when your going to Auburn Hills you might want to choose to stay in another part of the Detroit Metro Area.  Maybe back toward Livonia or Plymouth for that matter Novi.  Take advantage of the short time your here by taking in as much as you can.  Dearborn is always nice and the Henry Ford Museum is always a great attraction.  Reasonable and nice hotels in that area too.  I'm thinking of you here bro........happy wife........happy life.  I do this kind of stuff myself with my bride during the off season so that I can spend as much time fishing as I can when I am not at work or running around to soccer fields with our son.  We did a good one in November when my lovely bride and I had a room and dinner comped to us down at Motor City Casino.  It was AWESOME!!!!  Lost in the Casino though but it was fun.  Anyway, back to your bride and you........do it up.  Life is too short.   Enjoy your stay over here in the east.

Waterfoul, I wouldn't take them up on this unless breakfast was included.   :o   :P  Comfort Inn has breakfast included and is reasonable.  Nice rooms too.
